Best apps that pay real money in 2026
Yes, apps that pay real money exist — but most pay very little, take a long time to release a payout, or require an unrealistically high minimum before you can cash out. We compared the most-searched apps side by side on amount paid, time to payout, and minimum threshold, using each app's own public payout data while our own live tests are still running.
| App | Verdict | Payout method | Amount | Days to payout |

| Cashwalk | Slow | Gift card (no direct cash/PayPal) | $5† | 20 |
| SocialGood | Slow | SG Token / crypto cashback | varies† | 60 |
† Not yet verified by our own live test — figures come from each app's own published policy or public user reports (see the source note below each row) rather than from an account we ran ourselves. See our methodology. This table updates as our live tests complete.
Sampo: A walk-to-earn app that pays out in USDC — live test currently in progress. (Awaiting completion of a live test account (2 weeks, per Dollars Everywhere's methodology) — no public payout data reviewed yet)
Freecash: Ad/survey/offer catalog app; PayPal payouts are reported as processing within minutes once an account is verified, though first withdrawals can be held for fraud checks. $5 minimum via PayPal (5,000 coins); a 5% withdrawal fee applies to PayPal cashouts. (Freecash's own withdrawal help page and third-party reviews (Firstcard, Eneba), checked August 2026 — not our own live test)
Cashwalk: Pays in coins per 100 steps; at 10,000 steps/day it reportedly takes about 20 days to earn a first $5 reward, and only as a gift card, not cash. $5 gift card, but the coin threshold to reach it has reportedly risen over time (users report needing 5,000-10,000 coins where 2,000 once sufficed). (App-store reviews and user reports (thebudgetdiet.com, paidsurveyupdate.com), checked August 2026 — not our own live test)
SocialGood: A crypto-cashback model tied to shopping through partner stores, not to a simple task/ad model; reviews are sharply split between users reporting real payouts after ~60 days and users reporting balances they say they can't withdraw. No fixed minimum — a monthly 'Withdrawal Allowance' is set by how much you've spent through the app's cashback shopping partners, and a separate Spin-based withdrawal path requires $30+ spent within 48 hours. (SocialGood's own withdrawal guide and Trustpilot reviews, checked August 2026 — not our own live test)
FAQ
Is there an app that pays real money fast?
Based on publicly reported data, Freecash's PayPal payouts are the fastest of the four apps here (often within minutes once verified), though we haven't confirmed that with our own live test yet. Cashwalk and SocialGood both involve longer waits — around 20 days and 60 days respectively, per user reports.
Why are Sampo's numbers missing while the others have figures?
The figures for Freecash, Cashwalk, and SocialGood come from each app's own published payout policy and public user reports — not from our own testing. Sampo has no comparable public payout data to cite yet, and we don't want to publish a number, even a researched one, without a clear source — our own live test is in progress and will replace this placeholder.
Are these numbers from your own testing?
No — the figures above are from public sources (each app's help pages and independent reviews, dated August 2026), not from a live account we ran ourselves. We label every one of them 'not yet verified' by our methodology, and will update this table with our own tested numbers once each two-week live test finishes.
Does Sampo own this site?
No, but PONT K.K., the company that operates this site, is also the company behind Sampo. That's disclosed in this table and on the About page, and Sampo is reviewed by the same criteria as every other app here.
